Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day long... In humility we are willing to wait. In humility we listen carefully and are open to teaching. When we are open to being taught, God can show us the preferred path. We are ready to learn.
There are many possible paths. The best teacher leads the way to a mature choice among the possibilities. We will know that our choice is well-made when the path we choose unfolds into love and faithfulness.
